HOW TO VOTE IN VIRGINIA
Voting is easy and secure, choose the method that works best for you!
Vote By Mail
Vote Early In-Person
- Find your polling location HERE.
- Vote in-person Monday through Friday, typically from 8 AM to 5 PM before November 1, 2025.
- Your location may include at least one Saturday during the early voting period, with specific hours and additional days varying by locality. Check with your local registrar’s office for exact hours.
Vote on Election Day
- Vote in-person on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 between 6 AM and 7 PM.
- As long as you are in line by 7 PM you will be able to vote.

- Virginia has something called the Permanent Absentee List, which simply means you sign up to receive a mail ballot for each election without needing to submit a new application every year.
- It makes voting easy and convenient, and helps make sure you don’t forget to secure your vote.
